Syrian army forces and their allies launched an attack against terrorists in the outskirts of al-Janabra town in Hama northern countryside in response to sniper attacks by the militants on military positions in the region.

SANA also reported that the army units destroyed terrorist groups’ vehicles after they tried to infiltrate from al-Habbit town towards army points in the liberated areas in Idlib southern countryside.

The northern Hama area is adjacent to the province of Idlib, where there are large concentrations of Takfiri militants.

Idlib and some surrounding areas are the last major bastions of Takfiri terrorists and anti-government militants in Syria, where the Syrian government has in recent months retaken much of the territory it had lost since the conflict erupted in the country in 2011.
