Over Europa League play-offs, Shakhtar have advanced to the league quarter-finals, after defeating Wolfsburg 3-nil, with three late goals at National Sports Complex in Kiev.

The Ukrainian power-house got on the score-sheet with Junior Moraes’ shot into the right-post, just a minute before the 90th minute mark. One minute into the extra times, Manor Solomon rolled the ball into the bottom left corner, to score the second for Shakhtar.

Just two minutes later, Junior Moraes completed a brace as he scored the third for the Donetsk side. The three-goal win has made it 5-1 in aggregate for the Ukrainians and eased their passage to the Europa League quarter-finals, where they will face the winner of Basel and Frankfurt match.

Going on with the Europa League, Inter Milan have also advanced to the quarter-finals, after knocking out Getafe 2-nil.

It was Romelu Lukaku who put Milan in front, with a precise low-drive into the bottom right corner, 33 minutes into the match. Getafe had the chance to set the equalizer in the second half, but it faded away, when Khorkhe Molina failed to score a VAR-awarded penalty, 76 minutes into the game.

Fresh off the bench, Christian Eriksen took his turn to score for Milan side by firing a rebound into the middle of the goal at 83rd minute. Inter, as a result, will face either Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-finals.
