Rasoul Mousavi, an aide to the Iranian Foreign Minister, said on Saturday that in a meeting with the caretaker Afghan ambassador to Tehran, has announced Iran’s stance on a suspension of university education for all female students in Afghanistan.
Writing on his official Twitter account, Mousavi said that Iran is ready to provide Afghanistan with the needed infrastructures for the education of female students, including online platforms, to help resolve the problems for the education of female students in the country.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Thursday expressed regret over a decision by the Taliban in Afghanistan to suspend access to universities for female students.
