US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen met with Saudi Arabia’s finance minister Mohammed al-Jadaan at the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a statement released by US Department of treasury on Thursday reported.
Yellen and the Saudi minister discussed economic prospects of the Kingdom, the advancements made in its reform initiatives and its involvement in global and regional affairs, the statement added.
According the statement, both officials stressed their mutual commitment to enhancing collaboration, be it on a bilateral level or within broader multilateral frameworks.
Additionally, they underscored the significance of joint efforts in bolstering measures against the financing of terrorism.
