Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, met with Sherbaz Kaminzada, the head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines, and Mansoor Ahmadzai, the head of the National Mining Committee.

They discussed customs tariffs, royalties on mines, mining sector challenges, and the establishment of a national mining committee between the two entities. Delawar emphasized the importance of cooperation for the country’s economic development and growth.

Mr. Delawar also held a meeting with influential figures from the Mashwani tribal community.

The leaders shared some of their problems and suggestions related to the mining sector in their regions.

The mines and petroleum minister assured them of his commitment and support to address their issues within the available resources.
